About the Outlaws

The Downers Grove Outlaws are a girls fast-pitch travel softball organization from Downers Grove, IL. The Outlaws are ran by Tom Wentland, head coach of the 18u Outlaws. We are an A-team organization and play in many A level tournaments, exposure tournaments, and end the season going to Nationals.

Outlaws Mission Statement

The Downers Grove Outlaws are an organization whose purpose is to make a positive difference in the lives of young women athletes so they can achieve their highest potential on the field and off the field. Our mission is to provide unlimited opportunity to young women athletes who want to improve their physical, emotional and mental skills, while competing at a higher level of play in a positive environment that promotes integrity and sportsmanship. Players will learn to think the game, learn to play the game, and learn to respect the game. We do not measure our success in wins and loses, but in our ability to develop players, build confidence and positive attitudes.
